THE DATE HAS BEEN SET

On May 17th from 9am to 2pm we will be holding a community wide electronics recycling drive. Many of the computers that are collected will be refurbished and given back to students at McCallum who cannot afford their own. Grande Communications will be giving all of the students free internet access and Computers For Learning will be refurbishing the computers. All Electronics will be accepted from cell phones to CD players to computers, anything that cannot be refurbished will go to different recyclers including Round2 Technologies. Our recycling drive will be held at McCallum High School and is open for anyone to come donate. The recycling drive will also have educational displays about electronic waste and where computers come from and go to along with showing how toxic a computer can be.
